4D modelshop started as an inhouse model supply store at Thorpe's modelmakers. It became 4D modelshop when it moved to Hackney in 1990 and has grown steadly ever since. Now housed under 4 arches on Leman Street, 4D has a shop with over 6,500 model making items, a workshop offering laser, casting, etching, dry transfers and custom scenic builds and a small factory producing finely detailed architectural model trees.
